Dear mommies,

MommyCozyHaven is proud to be the first known team in Singapore who officially launched the service in placenta processing and encapsulation, providing dedicated and quality services for mommies.  We were set up in early 2007 and had processed more than 50 placentas thus far and still counting…  So far, our clients are all very satisfied with our service and even recommend us their friends and relatives. 

 

 

Know your placenta...

Placenta is is the life-support organ for the unborn baby; a healthy placenta transports essential nutrients and hormones to to the foetus for a normal development.

Placentophagy refers to the consumption of placentas. In animals, most mammals including herbivores participate in placentophagy. The placenta contains high levels of hormone protaglandin which stimulates the contraction of the uterus after delivery and helps in "cleaning" the uterus out. It also contains hormone oxytocin which stimulates the mammary glands to eject milk. On top of these benefits for a postnatal mother, human placenta has been used as Chinese medicine for more than 1400 years. The benefits of placentophagy is believed to be as follow:
